Hi, I’m Priyanka Govender-Chanderdeo ! I’m so thrilled you’ve stopped by my blog, and I hope you find exactly what you’re looking for. I promise, every moment spent here will be worth it.

I am from the beautiful city of Durban on the east coast of South Africa, and my love affair with cooking began when I was just nine years old.

Cooking has been a passion I embraced willingly, and my love for it has only grown since.

I started a small Instagram account in December 2021, excited to share my food journey through my phone camera. I never imagined it would lead to a blog! As my account began gaining traction in January 2023, I started sharing recipe videos. This inspired me to create this blog, a home for all my recipes and a way to document my journey.

Here, you’ll find a mix of traditional South African recipes, fusion dishes, vegetarian meals, Durban-style curries, and the celebratory recipes I grew up with. You’ll also find new recipes inspired by my travels.

Every single recipe is created with precision, I always have a pen and notepad nearby to capture the perfect ingredients and quantities.
