- 250 ml water
- 500 ml milk
- 40 g grated ginger
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 tablespoons honey
METHOD
- In a saucepan, pour 500 ml of water and add the freshly grated ginger. Bring it to a gentle simmer. By doing this step you will prevent the milk from splitting.
- Sprinkle one teaspoon of turmeric into the water mixture and stir well to combine the flavors.
- Once the water begins to simmer, drop in a cinnamon stick and slowly pour in the milk.
- Allow the turmeric-ginger milk mixture to come to a boil for a few minutes, ensuring all the ingredients blend harmoniously.
- Finally, add 2 tablespoons of honey to sweeten the golden milk. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.
- Serve the golden milk latte hot and enjoy its warm, earthy, and homey taste.
