Honey Glazed Carrots

Sweet honey-glazed, buttery carrots. A Christmas must have side dish that adds a touch of indulgence to your meal.

And my honey-glazed carrots recipe is so simple to whip up.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1kg Baby Carrots
  • 50g Butter
  • 3 Teaspoons Honey
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2-3 Teaspoons Freshly Chopped Parsley

METHOD

  1. Heat a pan and add butter, allowing it to melt.
  2. Introduce the baby carrots and coat them with the buttery goodness.
  3. Cover with a lid and let the carrots steam for about 10-15 minutes. You might need to add a splash of water to prevent burning.
  4. Keep an eye on the carrots, ensuring there’s enough moisture in the pan and that they’re cooking evenly.
  5. Season with salt and drizzle over three teaspoons of honey.
  6. Throw in some fresh parsley and toss the carrots thoroughly, making sure they are infused with the delightful blend of salt, honey, and parsley.
  7. Transfer this medley to a serving bowl and serve and enjoy.
