  • 1 Sliced Onion
  • 2 Diced Chillies
  • 250g Halloumi, cubed
  • 250g Lentils
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Coriander
  • 1 Tablespoon Crushed Garlic
  • 125g Sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 Grated Carrot
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Mixed Herbs
  • 1 Teaspoon Aromat
  • 1 1/2 Cups Boiled Rice

METHOD

  1. Begin by heating a pan, then add the dried mixed herbs and sliced onions.
  2. Once the onions turn translucent, introduce the sliced mushrooms and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Push the onions and mushrooms to one side of the pan, and on the other side, add the halloumi. Cook the halloumi until it turns a delightful golden brown on both sides.
  4. Once the halloumi is perfectly cooked, mix it with the sliced onions and mushrooms. Add in the crushed garlic and grated carrots.
  5. Once everything is beautifully combined, gently fold in the cooked rice and fresh coriander. Add a generous tablespoon of butter for that extra richness.
  6. Season the dish with the diced chillies and aromatic Aromat.
