JOHANNESBURG
Embarking on a three-year adventure in Johannesburg from 2017 to 2021 was truly an eye-opening experience, unlike anything we had encountered in Durban. Our move was primarily driven by work, and we settled near Sandton, an area that was initially unfamiliar to us. As a result, we often opted for quick bites at fast food joints between meetings, embracing the bustling pace of the city.
However, as time went on, we began to immerse ourselves in the vibrant restaurant scene that Johannesburg had to offer. Exploring new dining destinations became a cherished pastime, leading us to discover some true culinary gems.
Though this list may not be exhaustive, the restaurants mentioned have left an indelible mark on our palates, warranting multiple return visits. These are the restaurants that have captured our hearts and taste buds, beckoning us back for more delightful experiences.
