Pineapple Crush Dessert

Looking for a simple and foolproof dessert that will wow your taste buds? Search no further! This Pineapple Crush Dessert, which happens to be my sister-in-law’s specialty, is a true crowd-pleaser. With just six ingredients and an affordable cost of around R180, it’s a budget-friendly and delightful option.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 ml Fresh Cream
  • 250 ml Sour Cream
  • 1 Tin (385g) Condensed Milk
  • 1 Tin (290g) Nestle Dessert Cream
  • 1 Tin (432g) Pineapple Crush
  • 2 Tubs (2 x 115g) Granadilla Pulp
  • Optional: Grated Chocolate for topping

METHOD

  1. Begin by mixing the fresh cream and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Add the condensed milk to the mixture and mix well.
  3. Incorporate the tin cream, ensuring it blends seamlessly with the other ingredients.
  4. Drain the syrup from the pineapple crush tin and add it to the creamed mixture. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Finally, add the two tubs of granadilla pulp and continue mixing for approximately 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  6. Refrigerate the dessert for a few hours to set, ideally overnight for the best results.
  7. Serve the Pineapple Crush Dessert as is or sprinkle some grated chocolate on top for an extra touch of indulgence.

This creamy and refreshing dessert is a real summer treat that will impress your guests. Please note that blending all the ingredients together in a blender may not yield the desired texture. Instead, use a whisk to ensure each ingredient is well incorporated without over-whisking.

Keep in mind that this dessert sets overnight, so it’s perfect for preparing in advance for events or gatherings. Get ready to savor the delightful flavors of this Pineapple Crush Dessert and enjoy a taste of summer in every bite.
