INGREDIENTS

  • 350g Tofu
  • 1/4 Onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chillies
  • 1 tbsp Coriander (Spring Onions, Chives, or Parsley can be used as alternatives)
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Aromat or Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala

METHOD

  1. Begin by removing moisture from the tofu using a paper towel or napkin.
  2. Break up the tofu into small pieces using a fork, ensuring not to make them too fine as they may break during cooking.
  3. Heat some oil in a pan. Olive oil works well for this recipe.
  4. Add the chopped onions to the pan and cook for 2 minutes until they become translucent.
  5. Stir in the red chillies and turmeric, combining them with the onions. Cook for an additional 2 minutes over medium heat.
  6. Add the tofu to the pan and mix gently until well combined.
  7. Sprinkle in the black pepper, garam masala, aromat or salt, and half of the coriander. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining coriander on top and serve
